NSRI are the greatest calamari chefs!!
While NSRI is renown for its excellent sea rescue services, they showed during the Calamari Tasting yesterday in St Francis Bay, that they are not only the best at saving lives along our coastline, they are also top calamari chefs - again!
The NSRI calamari was certainly delicious and pipped the post! But other calamari creations and St Francis Bay dishes were also scrumptious and close behind the winner!
Sadly all calamari tasting tickets had been sold out by lunchtime when we arrived, but we were offered tastings by five chefs at five stalls, plus some refreshing Origin oxygen to drink!
We knew it was going to be difficult choice by the judge to choose the winning cooks and recipe from a smorgasbord...
