Handbag Drive by Luister FM: A Wonderful Project to Support Women in Need

Luister FM, a local radio station in the Eastern Cape, is running a special project for Women's Month in August 2023. The project called the Handbag Drive or Handsak Projek, aims to collect and distribute handbags filled with essential items for women in need.
The project is a great way to show compassion and care for women who are facing challenges such as poverty, abuse, homelessness, or illness. The handbags can contain items such as toiletries, sanitary products, cosmetics, stationery, snacks, or anything else that can make a woman feel valued and appreciated.
Luister FM has partnered with various organizations and businesses to serve as drop-off points for the handbags. One of these is Seeff Jeffreys Bay, a leading property agency in the coastal town of Jeffreys Bay. Seeff Jeffreys Bay is located at 33 Diaz Road and is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 16:30 and on Saturdays from 9:00 to 12:00.
Seeff Jeffreys Bay is proud to be part of this wonderful project and invites the community to join them in supporting women in need. You can donate a new or gently used handbag filled with items of your choice or you can donate items separately and they will be packed into handbags by the Luister FM team. You can also write a personal note or message of encouragement to the recipient of your handbag.
The Handbag Drive will run until the end of August 2023 and the handbags will be distributed to various organizations that work with women in need, such as shelters, hospices, clinics and schools.
Seeff Jeffreys Bay and Luister FM would like to thank everyone who has already donated to the project and encourages more people to get involved. This is a simple but meaningful way to make a difference in someone's life and celebrate Women's Month.
