Annual Seeff Awards

Category Branch Article

Friday the 15th of March 2024 started as a cool, overcast morning as the Seeff Edenvale Team convoyed to Kievits Kroon in Pretoria for the Annual Seeff Awards. This year was especially exciting as it was also Seeff's 60th Birthday Celebrations.

This grand affair got heads turning from the venue, to the classy deco, the Master chef plated lunch and vibrant entertainment. Convoys of Seeff branded vehicles filled the parking lot and carried members of the esteemed company from places as far as the DRC, Swaziland & Dubai

Dressed to kill Seeff Agents from the Northern Suburbs as well as Secunda, DRC, Swaziland & Dubai as well as their admin and Principals decked the halls in the most beautiful gowns and suites as they entered the prestigious event.

The Garden area was infused by the smell of freshly ground coffee. Also served was fresh juice and iced tea, the most decadent sweet treats to go with it. After quenching your desired thirsts, delegates headed to their designated seats in the hall to start with the days proceedings.

We began with a welcome speech from Samuel Seeff himself as he took us all down memory lane of how his parents started Seeff 60 years ago. He shared fond memories for himself as a child, going for long drives with his dad to dusty vacant properties on a Sunday afternoon and how he looked forward to the cookie jar in his father's office which was always filled with his favourite biscuits. He spoke about how the company then got handed over to himself and his brother and it was clear to see how proud he was of his parents and the love, dedication and ambition that lead to what the business is today still run by Honesty & Integrity.

After starters were served the entertainment began.... Lights filled the room and the up beat music got everyone in a celebratory mood, dances filled the stage first with their acrobatic displays and was then followed by cabaret dancers to finish off with a light display from a Poi dancer. What an extraordinary show that kept everyone at the edge of their seats dancing and singing along.

Thereafter the awards began with an interval for lunch and delectable wine.Kieviets Kroon being a wine estate supplied, red & white wine which we enjoyed with every meal.

Agents were awarded for their excellent performance for 2023 in the Residential Sales and Rentals division as well as the Commercial sector. 2023 Has been a tough year not only for the Real Estate sector but for the consumer too, with the rising interest rate people have been finding it hard to adjust causing them to downsize or wait for the market to get better before buying. Having said this, Seeff Agents still managed to keep their head above water, and kept moving forward, doing what they did best.

The Seeff Edenvale Team came home with a few accolades in the Sale and Rental division, proving that for a small branch compared to the rest we can still hold our heads up high.

Under the Guidance of David & Erica Ingle we proved to come out strong as a team from the Vale as we competed with the likes of Sandton, Pretoria and Hartbeespoort.

We ended the event with dessert. We cut cake and celebrated Seeff's 60th Birthday the old fashioned way. Individual cakes were brought to each table, candles were lit and we sang to ourselves " Happy Birthday to Seeff". The voices filled the air in unity and brought everyone together one last time for the day.

Thank you to everyone who made this day so special, and spoiling us all for Seeff's 60th Birthday.
