Meet Real Estate Agent Ronel Meyer, a highly experienced and dedicated professional in the industry. With a background in interior design from Cape Town Technikon, Ronel has a keen eye for excellent interiors and homes with ample potential. She has also attained a diploma in food science and gained vast experience working in hospitality. Ronel successfully opened seven major franchises, and owes her success to being “consistently consistent”.
After 17 years in real estate, Ronel has proven herself to be a top agent. She was named the top agent in Sandbaai for three consecutive years and has since joined Seeff, where she has been for the past three years. Ronel chose Seeff for its strong brand and exposure, great marketing, and brand awareness.
Ronel adores Hermanus for its sense of community and closeness. She loves that you always bump into people you know and that the sea is just two minutes away from her home. She enjoys taking strolls to the beach with her husband to watch the sun set with a glass of wine.
Ronel has strong roots in Hermanus, her mother is from here, and Ronel grew up here, attending both Hermanus Primary and High School. She moved to Cape Town to study and came back to Hermanus as soon as she could, and has enjoyed being back for 29 years.
Ronel's passion for giving back to the community is evident in her actions. She supplies soup to the Hermanus High School for the less privileged in winter; and has used her connections to build wooden structures and remove old carpets, as well as regularly collecting toys and sweets for an orphanage in Zwehlihle. She is also a sponsor for the local netball club and an active member. When she's not playing netball, Ronel enjoys walking the picturesque coastal cliff paths, knitting, sewing, and pickling foods.
With her strong commitment to her clients and her community, Ronel is truly a real estate agent with a lot of heart, who also believes in looking her best at all times. Her favourite quote is by Coco Chanel, “I don’t understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little – if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe that’s the day she has a date with destiny. And it’s best to be as pretty as possible for destiny.”
