Eldo Lakes Estate at a glance

Eldo Lakes is a small exclusive security estate situated in Centurion and falls in the suburb of Glen Lauriston. The Estate is divided into two parts separated by Campbell Road into Eldo Lakes Estate West and Eldo Lakes Estate East. It is situated between Valhalla and Eldoraigne. It consists of 140 full title stands, measuring between 400sm and 1300sm, as well as five Sectional Title Complexes each with a number of sectional title units. Building commenced in 2008. Prices range from R 2m to R5m (2016) for the full title Properties whilst the sectional title properties range in price from R 700 000 to R1.2m (2016).
The Estate is surrounded by a 2.2m high wall with electric fencing on top. The guardhouse at the entrance has access control and monitors the CCTV cameras.
The Estate has beautiful gardens with large trees, walkways, and a large open area where families can have picnics on the Hennops River and its greenbelt which runs through the Estate.

The Estate is bordered to the South by Wierda Road (M10), Valhalla to the North and Glen Lauriston to the East and West. The Estate has easy access to the Old Johannesburg Road (R101) and the R55 which provides access to Sandton and the Krugersdorp Highway (N14)
Close by in the suburb of Valhalla are a number of smaller shopping centers that contain all the necessary shops. However, the surrounding suburbs of Clubview, Eldoraigne and Wierda Park all have numerous shopping centers. Valhalla also has the usual cafes and convenience stores.
Sports facilities in Valhalla include karate, dance, baseball and tennis, whilst the neighbouring suburbs offer many other sports facilities such as chess, golf, running, bowls, snooker, walking, squash, horse riding, pigeon racing, ballet, gymnastics and badminton etc. .
Valhalla has many schools in the immediate vicinity including Eldoraigne High, Sutherland High, Voortrekkerhoogte High, Bakenkop Primary, Hennopspark Primary, Paratus Primary, Springvale Primary, Valhalla Primary, Swartkop Laerskool and Wierda Park Primary. There are also eight Nursery Schools and crèches.
Being an older established suburb, Valhalla has a total of three parks and public places, but the Montague Keen Park is a huge tract of land located in the center of Valhalla. The closest Post Office is the Valhalla Post Office on Broadway Road. The library is situated in the Wahof center, Hekla Road. A number of Guesthouses can be found in the surrounding suburbs, many which are reasonably priced.

Churches in the area include Baptist, Anglican, Gereformeerde, NG, AGS, Evangelical, Jehovah’s Witness, Methodist, Apostolic, etc. The Unitas hospital is about 6km from Valhalla, and a number of Medical Clinics are found in Eldoraigne, Clubview, Wierda Park and Hennops Park.
The closest police station is the Wierda Bridge Police Station situated in Valhalla.
