MvW Environmental Services, as an independent Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP), has been appointed by Mangaung Metro Municipality to facilitate the EIA process for the proposed Township Establishment at Lourierpark, Bloemfontein in the Free State Province. The land earmarked for the development is ±357Ha in extent and is owned by Mangaung Metro Municipality. The study area for this investigation is located approximately 10 km directly south west of the City of Bloemfontein, within the central portion of the Free State Province, South Africa. Bloemfontein is the capital city of the Free State Province and, as the judicial capital of the nation, one of South Africa's three national capitals.
