Acrobranch is a treetop experience dedicated to offering children and adults a unique aerial adventure.
The adventure park, situated on the grounds of Constantia Nek Restaurant, comprises a series of aerial obstacle courses with tree top high ropes, tricky crossings with ladders, tunnels, walkways and bridges, and zip lines to top it off.
There are 3 obstacle courses in the park, rigged according to three difficulty levels, some for kids and some for reasonably fit adults and teenagers. The Acro-Twigs course is for ages 3 and up, Tree Hugger for 7-year-olds and older and the Swinging Tarzan, by far the most challenging, and only for persons with a height of 1.4m and up.
“The experience is unique because we aren’t just a zip lining park. We have obstacles in and amongst them [zip lines], and that is what makes the experience different and exciting for both kids and adults. It is also great for children who want to overcome personal fears, such as heights, or it can help them boost their confidence”, says Park Manager Enock Joel.
The tree top adventures are a great activity for birthdays, corporate teambuilding, school outings and bachelor/ettes. The park can host and cater for up to 60 explorers at a time.
The sessions cost between R100 and R180 depending on the combination of courses chosen and are time-based. Participants can work their way through the courses as many times as they can fit into two hours. Bookings are recommended, especially on weekends and public holidays, when the park can get quite busy. Bookings can be made via their website.
