Goodwood is one of the oldest areas in the city and enjoys a central location with easy access to all
the highways and excellent public transport facilities.
It is named after the famous British racetrack as the area was initially used for horse racing. At one
stage, Goodwood had its own municipal status, but it is today part of the Cape Town metro.

A landmark in the area, is the Grand West Casino, the biggest of its kind in the Western Cape. Here,

while those with extras range to about R2.5m.
Goodwood is also very popular for rentals of houses and flats which are often in short supply, hence
