Goose Valley at a glance

Goose Valley Golf Estate is a magnificent, world class, Gary Player designed golf estate. Situated in a conservation area two kilometres east of Plettenberg Bay it is a combination links and parkland golf course, set amongst fynbos and indigenous trees.

The golf course was intentionally designed on a sand dune in order to achieve excellent drainage, and indeed even after a heavy downpour rain does not stop play. The Gans (Goose) River runs through the estate providing recycled water for irrigation, contributing to sustainability. Goose Valley offers many more facilities: the clubhouse has a family atmosphere with an elegant restaurant serving delicious light meals; in addition there is a state of the art driving range, as well as a pro shop, two tennis courts, a squash court, and a swimming pool.

Goose Valley is not just for golfers: non golfers enjoy the peace and beauty of the estate which is bounded by the Keurbooms Nature Reserve giving rise to an abundance of wildlife: small buck, tortoise and birds. (Snakes are relocated to the Snake Park!) There are beautiful views of the Keurbooms Lagoon, the Indian Ocean, Robberg Peninsula and the Tsitsikamma Mountains. Residents enjoy direct access to the lagoon, and mooring facilities are available.

Goose Valley is a prime residential estate with two, three and four bedroomed houses available. Proximity to Plettenberg Bay (one can even walk along the beach to town!) and the secure freedom it offers to children, make Goose Valley Golf Estate a desirable place to make one’s home.
