Port Elizabeth Airport is approximately one hour, and 3 minutes (86,4 km) away via the N2. The CBD is a mere 55-minute drive (74,1 km) via the N2 as well.

The climate in Wavecrest is suitable for a host of outdoor activities. From mid-November to early April, conditions for swimming and surfing are at their peak. Summer is warm and winter stays relatively dry and cool.

There is a display of micro shells, believed to be unique to the Jeffreys Bay region and there are also shells available for purchase from the local stalls. 

Wavecrest Surf School has been churning out quality surfers since 2005. The establishment has an all-inclusive approach to making sure you enjoy your local Wavecrest experience. After signing up for lessons with one of the qualified instructors, you are eligible for vouchers to some of the area's best restaurants, surf shops and takeaways. You can buy a brand-new surfboard and wetsuit to support your exciting hobby and make the most of your newfound talent on the beach.
