Each of the twelve owners has approximately 4500sqm private usage area with the remainder being commonage where residents may take walks along the numerous established footpaths.To blend in with the natural setting, the architecture of the homes (single storey only) must conform to certain environmental guidelines and only indigenous plants are allowed in the gardens. Each site has fresh water from the reserves own reservoir, underground telephone cables and Eskom electricity supply. Access to the reserve is strictly controlled via electronic gate and there is also a resident full time warden employed by the reserve.
