Olive Farm

Stunning working olive farm on the eastern side of the town, bordering the Dorps river. The 3670 olive trees are micro irrigated, and the main source of water is a 4 hour per week water allocation from the Kweekvallei Water Users Association. A registered borehole is utilised as a back-up, when needed. The main building consists of administrative offices, bathrooms, kitchen and tasting room/boardroom. It also includes a fully operational Pieralisi olive press, and temperature controlled storage capasity of 68,000 liters, in the form of stainless steel tanks.
A 300 sq meter store is currently utilised as a dry store and a separate workshop. Various other buildings are being used for storage of irrigation equipment, pesticides, tools etc.
A three bedroom managers house with pool and storage rooms, are within walking distance to the factory.
