Unparalleled views of the valley may be had on the climb to the fire lookout hut, also known as the famed White Hut atop the hill. Seven kilometres separate the white lookout hut from there.

Running

The topography of Giba's more than 45km of trails is diverse and undergoes seasonal changes. Along the route, there are rivers to cross, steep outcroppings to climb, challenging descents to master, and the most stunning views. MyRun Giba is a community-focused fitness event that has been established to bring communities together and motivate people to be more active. It offers a 2.5 km and a 5 km trail run. The weekly Sunday activities are free to attend. 

Biking

Giba has unmatched amenities and one of the top BMX tracks in the country. All aspiring cyclists who want to participate in a safe and welcoming atmosphere can start with the sport of BMX, which is an exhilarating cycling discipline that develops remarkable bike handling abilities. It's a terrific opportunity for kids to spend time outside, meet new people, and have fun. From the age of four and older, you can first try a BMX and ride it for enjoyment or competition.

Practice days are Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 12 p.m.

Horse trails

Giba Gorge horse trails provide an unmatched equestrian experience. From breathtaking waterfalls to bitless bridles, all ages will enjoy this pastime. A quiet horseback ride in Giba Gorge offers visitors beautiful routes that feature rivers, waterfalls, and a wide variety of vegetation, fauna, and wildlife.

A trip to the Gillitts Bowling Club is essential if you enjoy bowling. A passionate group of bowlers gathers around the bowling alley on 14 Vian Road in Winston Park. Residents, guests, and locals of all ages are all brought together by this group for entertainment.   • Get acquainted with the Gillitts Squash Club

There are five squash courts at the Gillitts Squash Club, including one for doubles. More than 300 members have been drawn in by the warm atmosphere and pristine amenities. Among players, the annual Gillitts Squash Open is a favourite. The competition features racquetball, squash singles, and squash doubles. Typically, the event lasts four days and features exhilarating sports.
