Cheyne’s

Cheyne’s is a comfy and casual family friendly Asian fusion restaurant famous for its locally sourced Asian and American style tapas.

Their wide array of umami flavoured dishes include culinary delights such as deep fried ‘firecracker’ crayfish with red dragon sauce, baby back ribs with black sesame and tamarind caramel, gochujang-spiced grilled lamb cutlets, as well vegetarian options that include spinach and pak choi ohitashi, aubergine tempura and hot and sour coconut cream risotto.

The menu is divided into 4 sections, namely: sea, land earth and happy endings. And if desserts are your weakness, be sure to try their delicious sweet treats such as double thick peanut butter shakes with toasted peanuts or their yuzu cream catalanas, with candied orange and black sesame snap.

Spiro's is a gorgeous Greek restaurant on Hout Bay's main road that serves popular and absolutely delicious authentic dishes such as Lamb Souflaki, Kleftiko, Xoriatiki, Gyros, Moussaka and more.

The restaurant is owned and run by Spiro Ragavelas and the friendly staff there will make you feel right at home.

Spiro's has al fresco dining areas in the front of the restaurant as well as in the paved, enclosed courtyard. There is also a wood-burning fireplace for those chilly winter days.

Ristorante Posticino

Ristorante Posticino is one of two legendary authentic Italian restaurants in Cape Town. The Hout Bay restaurant follows the same winning formula of the original restaurant in Sea Point and was opened in 2013.

Massimo’s

Massimo’s was voted as having the best pizza in Cape Town. They are a family friendly restaurant run by Massimo and Tracy who make you feel at
