Have a wholesome spin around PlayDate SuperPark

Category Area Focus

Cape Town's V&A Waterfront has long been a source of entertainment and leisure. With gorgeous views and a mountain of activities (pun intended), the area is unrivalled when it comes to providing heaps of fun for the whole family. You can find PlayDate SuperPark in The Watershed at Jubilee Hall on the Waterfront.

What's the fuss

PlayDate SuperPark is an extreme indoor play park with so many activities it will make your head spin and your kids jump for joy. The indoor play area features 350 sqm of a maze, a high line course, play blocks, a little city with slides and a mini maze! The game arena boasts air hockey, mini golf, target throwing, pitch and play and racing for kids 10 years old and above.

Children aged 5 and above are allowed to play on their own. Younger kids have to be accompanied by an adult at all times. There is a drop-and-go option available for busy parents and your child will be well looked after with food, drinks and treats if you so choose.

There is also a viewing mezzanine area for parents to relax with a coffee and a snack to eat from the cafe on site. Free Wi-Fi is available so you can work and catch up on your emails or social media while the kids play.

Popular park activities

The 3D maze is suspended 3 metres in the air with over 1000 sqm of obstacles to enjoy. This provides an added element of fun to obstacle courses and is well-loved by all ages.

The zip line builds core strength by encouraging kids to hold on tight while they slide from one side of the track to another. This is a great way to help those with a fear of heights slowly conquer their phobias while having a good time.

Speaking of heights, the high line course is suspended 5 metres above ground and offers 10 exciting obstacles off a high line rope course. The kids will be so focused on figuring out how to navigate the course, they won't even notice they're in mid-air!

The two half-pipe runs challenge kids' agility, speed and strength. It's a good way to expend energy and doubles as an exercise activity. Perfect before the kids wind down and explore the more calming little city. The little city offers comfortable climbing equipment, large lego blocks, towers and more. Kids love this play equipment and get creative with their games.

Host a party at the park

PlayDate SuperPark is also available for hire for private functions and birthday parties. Kids can enjoy hours of fun, customised party treats, their names in styrofoam blocks, balloons, exclusive use of the house party room and more. Adults can relax and enjoy having the day set up for them and no messy living room to clean up after! You are free to mingle with other guests and watch the kids have the time of their lives.

As the day progresses swimmingly, why not head over to the Two Oceans Aquarium to experience some of the awe-inspiring marine life up close and personal? The kids will be mesmerised by the many exhibits on display and it's a wonderful chance for them to learn about conservation and the importance of keeping our beaches and oceans clean.
