Constantia Valley Wine Bus

Category News

There's no better way to explore the Constantia Wine Route than hopping on and off the Constantia Valley Wine Bus.

The City Sightseeing Hop-On Hop-Off Buses start their route at the Two Oceans Aquarium bus stop at the V&A Waterfront. The bus you need to take is the Cape Town Blue Mini Peninsula City Sightseeing bus. The buses leave from 9am and then every 25/35 minutes from then on throughout the day until 6pm. The price you pay for that route includes the Purple Wine Tour. The wine bus is a one-decker bus with an open back and covered front. Simply hop off at Constantia Nek and hop on the Constantia Wine Bus.

The tour takes you to three wine estates including Groot Constantia, Eagles' Nest and Beau Constantia.

You’re welcome to hop off at each estate and spend as much time as you’d like wine tasting, visiting the museums and manor houses and picnicking or enjoying a bite to eat at one of the estate restaurants. Buses run on a circular route and will be there to take you to the next estate every 20 – 35 minutes.

Wine tasting, museum entrance fees and food are for your own account and all estates close at 5pm.
