The luscious and tranquil suburb of Strubenvale was founded between 1930 and 1940. In 1950 the suburb grew and was enlarged with extensions to the suburb. There was a new approach to the naming process of streets during this period and ultimately the streets were mostly named after councilors, municipal and mining officials as well as political figures.
