Seeff Soweto opened in 2019 after seeing that there was no real estate company in the area which was a good location to grow and expand our network. We have been working hand in hands with the community to make sure we stand out furthermore we deliver all the necessity the community needs, we are a small branch but we promise to give each client that comes in our offices the best lifetime experience. We are motivated in growing within the community and  serve them.

A brief history of the area

Protea Glen's development began in 1986 when the first options on property west of Soweto across the Klipspruit were signed. In the 1990s, middle-class households funded the creation of Protea Glen, which is now an example of successful property development and community expansion. Since its start in the 1990s, Protea Glen has been one of Gauteng's most booming residential districts during the last decade. The Johannesburg suburb's population has grown so that it has become a popular place for middle-class families.

Protea Glen to Johannesburg CBD takes around 34 minutes and covers 34,2 km. In comparison, it would take you roughly 41 minutes (59,4 km) to drive from Protea Glen to O.R. Tambo International Airport via the N12.

Climate

Protea Glen, like the rest of Soweto, has a warm climate. The region's summers are wet, but dry winters are the norm. January is the warmest month, with an average high temperature of 26.4°C. June is the coldest month, with an average high temperature of 16.9°C and a low temperature of 1.2°C. Soweto receives up to 750 mm of precipitation .

Schools in and around Protea Glen provide children with various academic and athletic opportunities. One of those is Glenridge Primary School, which has made a name for itself by ranking at the top of academic standards and providing a well-rounded education that includes extracurricular and athletic activities. Some of the most notable primary schools in the area are SPARK Soweto and Itemogele Primary School. Basa Protea Glen Combined School and Curro Academy Protea Glen are two schools that have combined grades for all ages. You may choose between Protea Glen Secondary, Thomas Mofolo High School, and Tetelo Secondary School, all which are excellent high schools in the area. The Boys and Girls Club is one example of the many after-school programmes available to the pupils of Protea Glen that aim to enrich and encourage them outside of the classroom.

Other restaurants in the area include Okumnandini Restaurant, Barcelos Protea Glen, Kota King, Ka Malume Protea Glen, Zibondiwe Restaurant, and KO Sejesong.

2. Credo Mutwa Cultural Village: This outdoor exhibition in the heart of Soweto has extraordinary sculptures and constructions created by an African artist and traditional healer, Credo Mutwa. He worked on a private collection of African-inspired sculptures from 1974 until 1986.

3. GOG Gardens Soweto: The park's ten hectares of space are used to host festivals and activities. The park has a lot of trees, open grass for picnics and activities, a playground for children, and a walking route.

4. Mofolo Park: Located on Mzilikazi Street in Soweto, Mofolo Park is well-loved by the town's residents and draws a diverse crowd for its many jazz festivals, gospel choirs, carnivals, street pop sessions, and other musical performance
