The airport nearest to Sunninghill is Lanseria Airport, which is commonly used for domestic flights and private charters. The major Johannesburg airport, OR Tambo International Airport, is 35 kilometers from Sunninghill. Lanseria is 25 kilometers from Sunninghill.

Situated between the heart of Sandton and the newer Midrand central business district, Sunninghill is an easy commute to work, should you be working from an office. If working in the Johannesburg inner city, it's a 35-kilometer commute on the N1 / M1 highways.
