Education in Edenvale

There are several reputable educational opportunities for all ages. Curro Linbro park is in the area. There is the school and college of modern Montessori. There are many choices from Linbro Park to Edenvale. Popular choices will include Greenstone Mall in Edenvale. Flamingo Mall in Modderfontein a small intimate lifestyle mall with Woolworths and Checkers. Stoneridge Centre and the larger super-regional Sandton mall to its west. There is a large variety of stores, entertainment, and restaurants in the greater Edenvale area.

Linbro Park is surrounded by a large choice of some of Johannesburg's best restaurants. Sandton shopping centre provides world class shopping and dining with over 375 retailers.

Some popular restaurants in Edenvale include: The Landing, Cafe Billi B, Cafe Mio, Graziellas, Fahrenheit Seafood and Grill, Malagueta Mediterranean family restaurant and The Red Door. There is also Piccolo Rosso, Grand Slam Sports Diner for sports fans and families. And, at Flamingo Shopping Centre in Modderfontein there is the popular Buonissimo Pizza and Prosecco Cafe.

Near Linbro Park is Modderfontein Golf Club, an 18 hole in-land course in a parkland setting. In Sandton you can enjoy Sunday lunch at Katy's Palace and visit the Nelson Mandela Square with its upmarket restaurants. On a Saturday afternoon there is the Modderfontein farmers market, a food and craft market. At The Redrock Brewing Company in Linbro Park you can taste some craft brews. Monte Casino is 16 minutes (16.5 km) away. There is a bird park, theatre, outdoor events and many restaurants and activities from which to choose.
