Reebok is a quaint coastal village that is located just beyond Mossel Bay, Western Cape, nestled between Klein Brakrivier and Groot Brakrivier. A brief history of the area

Reebok, a suburb of Mossel Bay, has a rich history. Originally named Bahia or Aquada Sao Bras, meaning 'Watering Place of Saint Blaize' by Vasco da Gama in 1497, it was previously referred to as Agra dos Vagueiros, Bay of Herders, by Bartholomeu Dias in 1488. In 1601, Paulus van Caerden bestowed the name Mossel Bay, as noted by Commelin in 1646.

In 1848 Mossel Bay was declared a town and magistrate's district before being declared a Municipality on the 12th of July in 1852.
