Westville is a lush, leafy suburb situated 10 km inland from the Durban CBD. Its close proximity to excellent schools, business and shopping complexes and sports facilities makes it an ideal place to reside.
A brief history of the area
The area was named Westville in honour of Martin West, the first Lieutenant Governor of Natal. Until the early 1920s, Westville was a farming area with the first schools and stores established in 1877. The location offered charm and natural beauty that you can still see in the area today.

The distance from Westville to King Shaka International Airport is 40,1 km (31 minutes away) via the N2 and residents can reach the Durban beachfront within 15 minutes (12,1 km) via the N3.
