PRISTINE PRIVATE COASTAL NATURE RESERVE

Untamed, unspoilt, private and strictly protected. Sea Farm is a unique 259 ha peninsula nature reserve lying between Pringle Bay and Bettys Bay and only one hour fifteen minutes drive from Cape Town International Airport along the coastal road to Hermanus.

Below the majestic slopes of Hangklip mountain, Sea Farm is a share block company and limited to a maximum of twelve privileged shareholders. The coastline of the property measures approximately 6,5 kms.It is a chance in a lifetime to enjoy an exclusive seaside lifestyle whilst making a unique investment in nature.The entire reserve is covered in fynbos and a large variety of plants and interspersed with wetlands and vlei, while isolated patches of milkwood, wild olive and Cape beech dot the slopes of the mountain.During late winter and early spring, the veld flowers are in full bloom, transforming the reserve into a wonderland of colour.There are also Cape grysbok,klipspringers,mongoose,Cape clawless otter,dassies and many varieties of land and sea birds.The two private beaches offer excellent swimming and aquatic life, which includes black mussel, crayfish and arikreukel.


Each of the twelve owners has approximately 4500sqm private usage area with the remainder being commonage where residents may take walks along the numerous established footpaths.To blend in with the natural setting, the architecture of the homes (single storey only) must conform to certain environmental guidelines and only indigenous plants are allowed in the gardens. Each site has fresh water from the reserves own reservoir, underground telephone cables and Eskom electricity supply. Access to the reserve is strictly controlled via electronic gate and there is also a resident full time warden employed by the reserve.
