An area directly in front of the barn has a 60m x 60m area to train or keep horses. The horses currently roam free and sleep in the barn at night. The barn needs some finishing touches as it is not completely finished yet.

Approximately 80 meters from the log cabin is another living area that consists of two open plan living spaces that shares a bathroom, covered courtyard and outside braai area. The clear, unpolluted Karoo night sky is ideal for stargazing as the sky is dark with no artificial light affecting the views. The area is ideal for friends or family that enjoy spending time together while still respecting each other’s space.

A boma is situated at the furthest end of the homestead and has a large open plan living space with a swimming pool, outside bar area and bathroom. The ideal spot to relax and spend time with your loved ones in the great outdoors. When heavy rain falls the water flowing in the ravine near the boma area has a therapeutic effect on a weary soul! It not only quenches the thirst of the Karoo but also feeds and restores a tired weary soul and brings new life to the area.

Access to the property is off Route 62 between Barrydale and Ladismith. A short drive on a country road brings you to the homestead that is hidden away from preying eyes with uninterrupted views of the Langeberge and Rooiberg Mountain Ranges from your doorstep. Hiking towards the North gives you a 360 degree view of the Swartberg, Langeberg and Rooiberg Mountain Ranges.
