The remaining reserve borehole is currently not utillised. The strongest borehole is under solar power and produces ± 3,000 lt per hour. Both the house and the shed have ample Jojo tanks for the supply of both rainwater and borehole water.

SOIL: There is deep alluvial soil in the north and in the south of the property ideal for crop or vegetable cultivation. Centrally there is an area of shallower soil.

IRRIGATION: The ± 5 ha of old lands are not currently irrigated except for a small patch being developed for household vegetable production. In previous years the ± 5 ha was flood irrigated and the potential exists to redevelop a portion of this utilising borehole water.

HOMESTEAD: The house is a modern face-brick bungalow style cottage of ± 100 m² in size and consists of one bedroom, bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room with an internal braai. The bungalow is tiled throughout and the bedroom and kitchen have ample built-in cupboards. Gas is utilised for both hot water and stove.

OUTBUILDINGS: A very neat and modern 80 m2 brick and corrugated iron workshop or shed with an adjoining steel and corrugated iron 60 m2 4 vehicle park and carport is situated ± 125 m away from the bungalow. The shed also has a toilet facility.

INFRASTRUCTURE: The property is entirely enclosed by a high game fence, has a number of stock-handling facilities which are currently utilised for ostriches and horses.
