Development opportunity next to Doon Heights Primary School

This is an amazing opportunity to build 110 or more apartments to sell at just under R1.0M each to attract first time buyers (the most active market segment) and young families. Amanzimtoti has few new developments and those that have been built attract high demand.

The land is zoned General Residential 5 and the Seller has had a town planner draw up plans for 110 units with open space that respects the DMoss protection of forest and local plant species. The stand is proclaimed and serviced and ready for construction as soon as you finalize plans. It is possible to reconfigure the plans to build more units and reduce the cost per unit built and sold.

The bush setting, protected adjacent land and Toti's bird life and flora make this land ideal for an eco themed development.

The entrance to the land is from Longacres Drive right next to the school entrance. It sits atop a hill and the southern half of the proposed scheme has views across the valley.

Seadoone Mall, Amanzimtoti High School and the N2 are all just a five-minute drive. The drive to Galleria is ten minutes and in to Durban Central is twenty five.

Amanzimtoti is a coastal town just south of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. According to local legend, when the Zulu King, Shaka, led his army down the South Coast on a raid against the Pondos in 1828, he rested on the banks of a river. When drinking the water, he exclaimed “Kanti amanzi mtoti” (isiZulu: “So, the water is sweet”). The river came to be known as Amanzimtoti (“Sweet Waters”). The Zulu word for “sweet” is actually mnandi, but, as Shaka’s mother had the name Nandi, he invented the word to replace mnandi out of respect not to wear out her name. Locals frequently refer to the town as “Toti”

The town is well known for its warm climate and numerous beaches, and is a popular tourist destination, particularly with surfers and the annual sardine run attracts many to the beaches.
