Kenilworth is best known for the Kenilworth Racecourse where the annual celebrity-studded J&B Met is held.

Kenilworth Go Karting is ideal for a rip-roaring fun day out with family and friends. The track is open from 9:30am till 11pm on week days and 9am till 11pm on weekends. There is also a gaming facility, pool tables, and food and refreshments are available.


For a bit of retail therapy Kenilworth is well known for its factory shops, all located in one area known as Access Park as well as the Kenilworth Shopping Centre.


Locals looking for a place to enjoy a warm summer evening out in Cape Town will love the Vineyard Oval Market. The market, in its easy to find location at the Kenilworth Racecourse, is open on Wednesday evenings from October to April; weather permitting. This local favourite boasts food stalls and trucks, wine tastings, arts and crafts as well as live music.
