Welcome to Seeff St Francis Bay
St Francis Bay is the gateway to the Sunshine Coast and falls within the Garden Route region, it offers the best escape, and is the ideal destination, whether you are a golfer, surfer, fisherman or holiday maker.

There is a marina and fabulous collection of mostly white-washed thatched homes set right on the water's edge. The small boat harbour offers sheltered anchorage for fishing and ocean-going vessels. The bay is home to dolphins and whales and is scenic with a white sandy beach that offers some of the safest swimmimg areas and the opportunity for fishing on the rocks. As with most of this coastline, it is popular with surfers for its waves and fabulous beaches. The area is surrounded by nature reserves, alive with birdlife and small animal species. Take a scenic walk between the two "harbours" or enjoy the trail running routes from Cape St Francis to Oyster Bay.
The Seal Point Lighthouse, erected to warn ships of the reef, that juts out beyond Seal Point, almost a kilometre out to sea. This now marks one of the 'corners' of the African coast, and is the second most southern point in Africa.
