Struisbaai , Cape Agulhas and Suiderstrand are situated at the Southernmost tip of Africa where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. ( 34° 49' 58" S and 20° 00' 12" E).

The 1st jetty and breakwater were built in 1856/7 and used to transfer wool, hides and bags of wheat. Today the quaint Struisbaai Harbour is used by both fishing and ski boats and Struisbaai is renowned for it’s many annual fishing competitions and great catches of, especially, yellowtail. The quaint harbour, built in 1959 was deepened and enlarged in 1990 and is today used by both fishing and ski boats. Struisbaai is a long time favourite of both locals and international holiday makers and property investors.
