Taryn Van Rooyen

I’m Taryn van Rooyen, and I have dedicated over ten years to working as an administrator in the finance sector. My professional journey started at Old Mutual Finance, where I developed a strong foundation in client relations and administrative management. I am especially proud to have earned a national certificate for Best Client Relations Consultant, which reflects my commitment to providing outstanding service.

After a rewarding tenure at Old Mutual, I joined Mariset Management, where I worked for five months before being retrenched. Rather than viewing this as a setback, it became an opportunity to diversify my experience. I embraced part-time administrative roles, including meaningful work with the Red Cross in Knysna, which allowed me to contribute to impactful community initiatives.

Driven by a passion for continuous growth, I completed a one-year Business Management course, equipping me with valuable insights for navigating today’s dynamic business environment. I remain committed to staying informed about industry trends and innovations.

When I’m not working, I cherish time spent with my family. Whether it's relaxing at home or watching our favourite shows, these moments keep me grounded and balanced. I believe that maintaining harmony between professional aspirations and personal well-being enriches both aspects of life.
