Rita has been a proud and active member of the Tulbagh and Wolseley community since 1997, after relocating from her birthplace in Namibia. She joined the Seeff Tulbagh family in 2018 as a receptionist and administrator, where her commitment and professionalism earned her a Merit Award in 2019.
With a strong background in the financial and service industries, and a natural passion for helping people, it was a seamless transition when Rita moved into the rentals division in February 2020. In 2024, she was honoured with Achiever Status, and continues to go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service to both landlords and tenants.
Rita is deeply involved in her community and gives of her time and energy to local outreach programmes, including the CHAIN animal shelter and various soup kitchens in Tulbagh and Wolseley. She is also an active member of the Tulbagh Lions Club and LCIF, assisting with disaster management efforts during fires and floods. Her work in these spaces keeps her in touch with both ends of the economic spectrum, allowing her to better understand the needs of tenants while ensuring the best outcomes for property owners.
Her personal motto reflects her grounded approach:
“I have been poor, and I have had money – I have been a tenant and I have been a property owner.”
It is this lived experience that enables her to genuinely relate to the challenges and realities of her clients.
Rita is based at the Seeff Tulbagh office, where she remains dedicated to delivering honest, ethical and high-quality service in line with the values of the Seeff brand.
