Lydia Hatherly is a Property Practitioner with a deep-rooted connection to the Upper Highway, an area she has proudly called home for more than three decades. Her extensive local knowledge, love for the community and understanding of the lifestyle it offers give her a valuable perspective when helping buyers and sellers navigate the local property market.

For Lydia, real estate has always been about far more than property. She loves meeting people, understanding their stories and helping them through the exciting milestones that come with buying or selling a home. From house hunting and negotiating the right deal to guiding clients through the process and celebrating a successful sale, Lydia approaches every property journey with honesty, dedication, open communication and genuine care.

Building lasting relationships is at the heart of the way Lydia works. She takes particular pride in the friendships she has formed with clients over the years and in the trust reflected through repeat business and referrals from those she has assisted. She believes that handing over the keys may mark the end of a transaction, but it doesn’t have to mark the end of the relationship.

Family and community are equally important to Lydia. She is a proud wife, mother and grandmother, and her family shares a strong connection to cycling. One of her proudest achievements is being the mother of an Olympian, Olympic medallist and two-time World Mountain Bike Champion. When she isn’t talking property, Lydia enjoys family braais, picnics, beach walks, catching up with friends over coffee and a little retail therapy.
