A scenic off-grid getaway farm currently farmed with +- 150 Nguni Cattle with no permanent staff on the property. This property holds potential for cattle, game, Angora or Boer goat farming.

SIZE: 1,088 ha

RAINFALL: Summer rainfall of +-350 mm per annum

CARRYING CAPACITY: +- 16 ha per LSU

TOPOGRAPHY: In the southern part of the farm at +- 1,100 m ASL a narrow valley running north north-west with an adjoining kloof to the east. In the northern part of the farm the valley widens with extensive north-western and south-eastern facing slopes, the latter topped by high, vertical dolerite cliffs reaching an altitude of +-1,900 m ASL.

VEGETATION: In the valleys there are abundant Karee, Sweet Thorn, and Wild Olive trees with underlying Panicum and Kweek. On the mountain slopes some Merxmuellera and blinkblaar are to be found but are interspersed with palatable Karoo scrubs on the lower slopes, and on the higher slopes Red Grass and other sweet grasses particularly where there has been a recent fire.

WATER SUPPLY: There are 3 boreholes, only one of which is currently utilised and fitted with a solar panel and submersible pump for stock water. Livestock in all other camps are supplied with water from river pools and streams. Water for the farm cottage is pumped directly out of a river pool.

BUILDINGS: The farm has a small and neat one bedroomed cottage with one bathroom and an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room. The only other building on the property is a staff cottage. Both these buildings have been recently constructed.

INFRASTRUCTURE: The farm is divided into 4 camps with the boundary fences in good condition but with some of the internal fences needing some attention. There are basic handling facilities for cattle.

POWER SUPPLY: Solar Power at the main cottage only.

GAME: Naturally occurring species include Kudu, Grey Rhebok and Mountain Reedbuck
