Windermere is a suburb in the heart of Durban, South Africa that offers a diverse community within beautiful surroundings. The public swimming pool known as Sutton Park was named after the then Prime Minister of KwaZulu-Natal, Sir George Sutton and is situated in the heart of Windermere.

Windermere residents looking to reach Durban Central can do so in approximately 13 minutes (4,2 km) via Lilian Ngoyi Rd and King Shaka International Airport is a 27-minute drive (29,9 km) via the N2.

Windermere's climate is subtropical, with very mild, fairly dry winters and hot, rainy summers. The coldest month of the year is July with an average temperature of 17.4 °C while the warmest month is February with an average temperature of 25.5 °C. February is also the wettest month of the year and sees roughly 130 mm of rainfall.
