Lamberts Bay
Lamberts Bay is situated on the Cape West Coast, about 280km north of Cape Town.
Properties in Lamberts Bay are well-known for the unspoilt beaches, crayfish diving and open air restaurants.
The Bird Island offers colonies of seabirds a safe breeding environment. This island was home to a large colony of gannets, was almost destroyed by ravaging seals.
But with the aid of Marine and Coastal management, the situation was resolved and the gannets are one their way back to the island.
The town also sports a nine hole golf course, a bowling green, 3 tennis courts and a jukskei rink. The popular caravan park can accommodate 250 caravans.
Lamberts Bay is home to about 1000 inhabitants which is supported by potato and fish factories. The town has a couple of convenient stores, pharmacy, petrol station, car repair shop, hardware store, clothing store and a couple of curio shops.
