Gardens / Oranjezicht is in the heart of the Cape Town City Bowl. Gardens is closer to the inner city and shopping area, while Oranjezicht has spread more majestically up the mountain.
Gardens has more apartments, whereas Oranjezicht has more of the larger homes with substantial grounds. Most properties have views of either Table Mountain or Lion’s Head or north towards the City and bay.
Gardens Centre is the popular shopping mall with anchor tenants such as Pick ’n Pay, Woolworths and Clicks as well as many other retail stores and restaurants.
