Secunda Property - Mpumalanga

Secunda is part of the Cosmos Country. It is governed by the Govan Mbeki Municipality and covers the South Western side of Mpumalanga. It is a major agricultural and oil production centre.

Secunda is the hub of South Africa’s crude oil production as 29% of South Africa’s liquid fuel requirements are supplied by Sasol Synfuels. The five Sasol coal mines at Secunda have the largest underground coal mining complex in the world. Sasol produces 240 other products for customers in a hundred different countries.

Secunda’s Cosmos Country explodes with colour when pretty pink and white cosmos flowers bloom in the summer.

The town boasts with a beautiful waterfront called Lake Umuzi, where fun and games are in order with many restaurants, ten-pin bowling, water games, a basement theatre, etc. Lake Umuzi has the Umuzi Lodge for visitors and Secunda has many more guest houses for tourists.

Secunda also has the Graceland Casino with a very challenging links golf course. There are another two great golf courses nearby, located at Evander and Kriel.
