The stadium, with seating for 42 000 fans, is named after the Bafokeng people who live in the area. The stadium is only a 25 minute drive to Sun City and 30 minutes to the Pilanesberg. It is 12 kilometers from the Rustenburg city centre. It will host five first round matches and one second–round match.
